Daily Schedule
The following is a general outline of your child’s day.
6:30 – 8:00 Morning Extended Care Hours
8:00 - 8:45 General Arrival Time
8:00- 9:15 Outdoor Playground Time
9:15 – 11:00 Classroom Work Period
11:00 – 12:30 Lunch and Recess
(12:00 End of Half Day Program; all half day children must be picked up by 12:15)
12:30 – 2:30 Nap Period*
3:00 - 3:30 Departure Time
(All children not registered for extended care must be picked up by 3:30.)
3:30 – 5:00 Afternoon Extended Care Hours
*California Childcare Licensing Laws require an afternoon nap period for all children under the age of 5. Children must be provided with a quiet rest atmosphere free from distraction, and must be allowed to sleep. When appropriate and possible, a classroom teacher may allow non-sleeping children to resume working quietly in the classroom. Classrooms with our younger children generally remain in nap mode until 2:30.
Morning Drop-Off/Health Checks
Morning Drop-off and Health checks are performed by a staff member right at the car in the parking lot. Children are escorted to their playground area and teacher by a staff member.
